With 25 years of experience, we can design and install a variety of windows to your specification.
UPVC windows are typically one of the most popular choice of windows to replace existing ones. This is because they are longer lasting, low maintenance, and do not rust, shrink, crack or rot.
There are a lot of styles and colours to choose from. They have excellent curb appeal and a much greater resale value.
As part of our installation process, once your windows are fixed in place, we insulate around the frame before sealing them against the elements. This, together with the performance of the glass, makes our windows around 30% more efficient than the original. If your window frames are in good condition, but you would like your damaged or poorly performing glass replaced, we can do that too.
Replacement UPVC dormer windows, Wortwell
The old timber frames needed replacing. Continual weathering and water damage had shrunk the frames, meaning the units could no longer maintain a tight seal. Once the old timber frames had been cut out, new UPVC windows were installed with quality fixings for security, insulated, and sealed for better defense against the weather and much better performance in keeping the heat inside the building.
The new UPVC windows needed to match the look of the original timber frame and colour, so we worked with the customer to ensure the character of the building was not lost. The customer opted for Agate Grey wood grain effect on the external so the curb appeal was not lost and a white smooth finish on the inside for ease of cleaning and to make the room brighter!
The front of the property had existing UPVC windows in the style of traditional sash windows. Unfortunately, their modern style was not in keeping with the house.
We installed deep, double-glazed sliding sash windows in UPVC, which fitted perfectly into the windows. They transformed the home, giving it a more ‘cottage’ feel that the owners were delighted with.
“I was very happy with the boys that fitted the windows. They were professional, helpful and tidied up well during and after the work was completed.”
